Pedestrian Injured in Downtown Denver Intersection Collision

DENVER, CO 3/29/2025. On March 29, 2025, at approximately 2:48 PM Mountain Time, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred at the intersection of 17th Street and North Broadway Street in Denver’s Central Business District. The accident took place on a wet roadway during dark-lighted conditions when a passenger car traveling west made a left turn and struck the pedestrian at the intersection, approximately 0.2 miles southeast of the major cross streets Colfax Avenue and Broadway. Despite the negligence attributed to the driver’s careless and distracted driving, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 280th traffic-related incident in the CBD neighborhood since March 29, 2024.
