Pedestrian Injured in Highland Traffic Incident at 38th and Lipan

DENVER, CO 11/12/2024. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred in Denver’s Highland neighborhood on November 12, 2024, at approximately 10:55 AM. Authorities reported that the incident took place near the intersection of W 38th Ave and N Lipan St. A passenger vehicle, traveling southeast, was making a left turn when it struck a pedestrian crossing at the intersection. The driver was cited for careless driving, although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident adds to the 341 other reported incidents in the Highland area within the past year.
