Pedestrian Struck at Intersection in Union Station

DENVER, CO 12/14/2025. On December 14, 2025, at 11:36 PM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at the intersection of 17th Street and Wewatta Street, 0.3 miles southwest of the nearest major cross streets. The incident, which took place on a dark-lit road, involved a passenger car traveling westbound, and was attributed to careless driving by the motorist. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or serious injuries. This marks the 317th traffic-related incident in the Union Station neighborhood since December 15, 2024.
