DENVER, CO 6/20/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred in Denver’s Civic Center neighborhood on June 20, 2025, at approximately 7:21 AM. The accident took place at 909 N Bannock St, located in a private property roundabout about half a mile southwest of the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Broadway. The incident involved an SUV traveling south through the roundabout, where it struck a pedestrian. Although the collision did not result in serious injuries or fatalities, it has raised concerns as the driver was cited for careless driving, attributed to inexperience. This event adds to a total of 276 incidents reported in the Civic Center neighborhood over the past year.
