Pedestrian Struck by SUV on Icy Roads in Denver’s Five Points

DENVER, CO 2/5/2025. On February 5, 2025, at 2:49 PM, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood, approximately 0.2 miles northeast of the intersection of 22nd Street and California Street. An SUV, traveling in a northeasterly direction, slowed down on the icy roadway when it struck a pedestrian. The incident occurred in an unlighted alley, highlighting safety concerns associated with poorly lit and icy conditions. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Over the past year, the Five Points area has experienced 616 reported traffic incidents.
