Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle at 9th and Walnut Intersection in Denver

DENVER, CO 5/12/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred at the intersection of 9th Street and Walnut Street in Denver’s Auraria neighborhood early Monday morning. Reported at 2:49 AM on May 12, 2025, the accident involved a pickup truck or utility van making a left turn eastbound when a pedestrian was struck. Despite the driver’s careless maneuver exacerbated by sun glare, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident joins a list of 131 other incidents in the Auraria area since last year.
