Pedestrian Struck During Morning Traffic Near E Virginia Ave Intersection

DENVER, CO 12/4/2024. On the morning of December 4, 2024, at 8:32 AM, a pedestrian was struck at the intersection of E Virginia Ave and S Downing St in the Washington Park West neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the roadway as a passenger car making a left turn collided with the pedestrian, who was crossing at the intersection. Despite the collision, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The incident comes amidst a notably high number of traffic events in the area, with 240 incidents reported since December 2023.
