Pedestrian Sustains Injuries in Dark Intersection Incident in Montclair

DENVER, CO 12/12/2024. On December 12, 2024, at approximately 10:21 AM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at the intersection of N Quebec St and E Severn Pl in Denver’s Montclair neighborhood. The incident, classified as ‘Intersection Related,’ occurred about half a mile north of the major cross streets N Quebec St and E 6th Ave. In dark and unlighted conditions, the pedestrian failed to yield the right-of-way while the vehicle, traveling north and going straight, had no apparent contributing factor from the driver. Though the event resulted in injuries, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident joins 161 others reported in Montclair over the past year.
