Possible DUI Collision in Barnum West Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 9/5/2025. A possible DUI-related traffic incident was reported on September 5, 2025, at 9:03 PM at the intersection of W 6th Ave and N Perry St, approximately south direction from the major cross streets of Federal Blvd and W 6th Ave in Denver’s Barnum West neighborhood. The collision involved two passenger vehicles, with one traveling east in the wrong direction and the other heading west. The incident, occurring in dark but lighted conditions on a non-intersection road, resulted in one serious injury but no fatalities. This accident adds to the 96 other incidents recorded in the Barnum West neighborhood since last year.
