Possible DUI Incident at E 56th Ave and N Memphis St Reported in Denver

DENVER, CO 8/16/2025. On August 16, 2025, at 10:21 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of E 56th Ave and N Memphis St in the Gateway – Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver. The collision, involving a pickup truck traveling east and a passenger car going west, occurred 0.5 miles northeast of major cross streets E 56th Ave and Peña Blvd. The pickup truck reportedly failed to stop at a signal, leading to a front-to-front collision with no serious injuries or fatalities. Police have indicated the incident may involve driving under the influence. This adds to the 589 incidents already reported in the area over the past year.
