Possible DUI Incident Involving Single Vehicle Near I-25 and 20th St in Denver

DENVER, CO 8/31/2025. On August 31, 2025, at 5:46 PM, a traffic incident was reported involving a passenger car traveling north on I-25 near the 20th Street intersection in the Highland neighborhood, Denver. Approximately 0.5 miles north of the I-25 and 20th Street intersection, the vehicle, reportedly driven carelessly and with possible driver distraction, collided with a concrete highway barrier. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Authorities are investigating the crash as it may involve Driving under the Influence. This marks one of over 300 incidents in the Highland area since September 1, 2024.
