Possible DUI Incident Leaves One Seriously Injured in Mar Lee Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 10/12/2025. On October 12, 2025, a traffic incident possibly involving driving under the influence was reported at 6:37 PM in the Mar Lee neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of S Tennyson St, approximately 0.4 miles south of the major cross streets S Federal Blvd and W Jewell Ave. A passenger car traveling north collided front-to-rear with a parked pickup truck on a dark-lit roadway, resulting in one serious injury. The driver of the car was reportedly engaged in careless driving and may face additional scrutiny related to impairment. No fatalities have been reported, and this marks the 193rd incident in the Mar Lee neighborhood since October 14, 2024.
