DENVER, CO 12/13/2025. Early on the morning of December 13, 2025, at 1:35 AM, a traffic incident was reported in the 2900 block of W 2nd Ave in the Valverde neighborhood in Denver, potentially involving driving under the influence. The incident, approximately 0.25 miles west of the nearest major intersection of Federal Blvd and W 2nd Ave, involved a westbound SUV carelessly driven into a parked pickup truck, resulting in a front-to-rear collision. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. The SUV driver reportedly failed to notice the parked vehicle, leading to the collision. This marks the 94th traffic incident in the Valverde neighborhood since December 16, 2024.
