DENVER, CO 11/23/2024. On November 23, 2024, at 7:00 PM Mountain time, a traffic incident occurred on E Hampden Ave near the I-25 junction in the Hampden South neighborhood of Denver. Located approximately 0.2 miles east of Monaco Parkway, the incident involved a westbound vehicle carelessly driving straight into the rear of a stopped pickup truck/utility van. The scene, which was reasonably lit despite the dark conditions, was noted to be on a road and not at the intersection. Thankfully, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. However, the incident might involve Driving Under the Influence, raising concerns in a neighborhood that has faced 420 similar incidents since November 2023.
