Possible DUI Incident Reported Near Larimer Street in Denver

On September 26, 2024, at 3:39 PM, a traffic incident was reported in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver on the 2200 block of Larimer Street. The incident occurred approximately 0.3 miles southwest of the intersection of Larimer Street and Broadway. A passenger car, entering or leaving a parked position and headed south, rear-ended a parked SUV under dark but lighted conditions. The driver of the passenger car was cited for careless driving and possibly influenced by fatigue, raising concerns about potential driving under the influence. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This adds to the 586 traffic incidents recorded in the neighborhood over the past year.
