Possible DUI Incident Reported Near S Monaco St and Leetsdale Dr

DENVER, CO 9/26/2025. On September 26, 2025, at 10:54 PM MT, a traffic incident involving a single SUV was reported near the intersection of S Monaco Street and Leetsdale Drive in the Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood of Denver. The vehicle, traveling southbound and engaged in careless driving, ran off the right side of the road, striking a curb and then colliding with a light or utility pole. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This non-intersection accident occurred approximately 500 feet southwest of the major cross streets, under dark, lit conditions. Authorities are investigating the possibility of Driving under the Influence as a contributing factor.
