DENVER, CO 5/17/2025. On May 17, 2025, at 9:42 AM MT, a traffic incident was reported near W 34th Avenue and N Alcott Street in the Highland neighborhood of Denver. A passenger car traveling north was involved in a non-fixed object collision on the roadway, approximately three blocks west of major cross streets W 32nd Avenue and Zuni Street. Initial reports suggest that careless driving was a contributing factor, and authorities are investigating the possibility of driving under the influence. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities have been reported as a result of this incident. This marks another in a series of incidents in the Highland area, with 312 reported in the past year.
