Possible DUI Involved in Denver Collision Near Westwood Intersection

DENVER, CO 6/1/2025. A traffic incident involving a pickup truck and a passenger car was reported at 7:15 PM on June 1, 2025, approximately 0.2 miles southwest of the intersection of S. Lowell Blvd. and W. Kentucky Ave., in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. The crash, which occurred under dark but lighted conditions, involved a southbound pickup truck failing to yield the right of way and colliding front-to-front with an eastbound passenger car. Authorities suspect that driving under the influence may have been a factor, although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident adds to the 302 reported traffic incidents within the Westwood area over the past year.
