Possible DUI Involved in Traffic Collision Near S Sheridan Blvd and W Alameda Ave

DENVER, CO 12/21/2024. On December 21, 2024, at 4:25 PM, a traffic incident potentially involving Driving under the Influence was reported at the intersection of S Sheridan Blvd and W Alameda Ave in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. The accident involved a passenger car and a pickup truck, both traveling westbound, resulting in a front-to-rear collision. Fortunately, the incident, which occurred approximately 0.2 miles southeast of the noted cross streets, did not result in any serious injuries or fatalities. The scene was described as a dark-lighted intersection, with no apparent contributing factors observed from the truck’s driver, while carelessness was noted on the part of the passenger car’s driver.
