Possible DUI Suspected in Collision at S Santa Fe Dr and W Alameda Ave

DENVER, CO 7/27/2025. On July 27, 2025, at 5:01 PM, a traffic collision was reported at the intersection of S Santa Fe Dr and W Alameda Ave in the Baker neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved an SUV, traveling east, striking a pickup truck/utility van that was making a left turn and traveling north. The collision resulted in a series of harmful events, including a front-to-side impact and subsequent rollover. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Although no apparent contributing factor was noted for the pickup truck/utility van driver, the SUV driver was cited for careless driving and driver inexperience, with suspicions of driving under the influence. This incident marks the 701st traffic incident in the Baker neighborhood since July 27, 2024.
