Possible DUI Suspected in Denver Intersection Crash on Federal Blvd

DENVER, CO 9/6/2025. On September 6, 2025, at 6:20 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported at 214 S Federal Blvd in the Valverde neighborhood of Denver. The crash occurred at a dark-lighted intersection approximately 0.3 miles south of the junction of Federal Blvd and W Alameda Ave. A passenger car traveling south collided head-on with a pickup truck making a U-turn onto the westbound lane. The driver of the passenger car was reportedly racing at the time of the incident, and authorities suspect possible driving under the influence. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were recorded. This marks the 88th incident reported in the Valverde neighborhood since September 13, 2024.
