DENVER, CO 4/28/2025. On April 28, 2025, at approximately 5:38 PM Mountain time, a serious traffic incident occurred on the 1800 block of South Tennyson Street in the Mar Lee neighborhood of Denver. The accident took place 0.5 miles south of the major intersection at South Tennyson Street and West Jewell Avenue. The collision involved a northbound passenger car and a parked pickup truck, resulting in one serious injury. The crash was described as a ‘front to rear’ incident on a non-intersection roadway during dark but lighted conditions. The driver of the passenger car was cited for careless driving. This incident adds to the 198 traffic-related events recorded in the Mar Lee neighborhood since May 1, 2024.
