DENVER, CO 5/16/2025. A traffic incident involving an SUV and a medium/heavy truck was reported on May 16, 2025, at 12:02 AM on N Havana St near E 47th Ave, approximately 0.1 miles south of the intersection. The collision resulted in one serious injury and no fatalities, with the SUV headed south colliding front to side with the westbound truck. The crash occurred at an intersection under dawn or dusk light conditions, with careless driving attributed to the SUV driver as the primary factor, though no apparent human contributing factors were cited for either driver. This is part of a concerning 469 incidents reported in the Montbello neighborhood over the past year.
