Traffic Incident Involving Pedestrian Reported at E 17th Ave and N Franklin St

DENVER, CO 2/6/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on February 6, 2025, at 1:38 AM at the intersection of E 17th Ave and N Franklin St in the City Park West neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a passenger car or van traveling east and making a left turn. The driver was reportedly unfamiliar with the area and cited for careless driving. The pedestrian was crossing or entering at the intersection. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Since February 6, 2024, there have been 163 incidents reported in the City Park West neighborhood.
