On August 14, 2024, at 9:25 AM MT, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of N Sand Creek Rd and N Northfield Quebec St in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a southbound pickup truck/utility van that followed too closely and collided with a northbound passenger car/passenger van that was stopped in traffic. The driver of the pickup truck/utility van was cited for being distracted and manipulating vehicle controls. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
