Two Seriously Injured in Traffic Collision at E Yale Ave and S Cherry St in Denver

DENVER, CO 2/8/2025. On February 8, 2025, at approximately 8:25 AM Mountain time, a serious traffic incident occurred at the intersection of E Yale Ave and S Cherry St in the University Hills neighborhood of Denver, resulting in two individuals sustaining serious injuries. The collision involved two passenger cars, with one vehicle traveling south and making a left turn, driven carelessly due to age-related driver ability issues, and the other traveling west and going straight without any contributing driver actions. The incident, which took place 0.1 miles southwest of the major cross streets, is part of 143 reported incidents in the neighborhood over the past year. No fatalities were reported.
