BikerDown Hosts its 3rd Annual Look Twice Save a Life Ride. The ride this Saturday starts at Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson with registration from 9:00-10:30 am kickstands up at 11:00. The route map will be distributed at registration and will end at Quaker Steak & Lube where riders are welcome to kick back and enjoy each other’s company over great food and drink.
Prior to departure, there will be a grand prize drawing for a Sturgis Getaway, sponsored by The O’Sullivan Law Firm. The prize includes RV rental and two Buffalo Chip concert passes to this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. If you’ve been pre-registering online or at previous BikerDown events, you’ll have extra opportunities to win but – you must be present to win! But don’t despair – if you haven’t registered yet, you can on Saturday.
This event and the Sturgis grand prize benefits BikerDown, a nonprofit organization that supports injured motorcyclists as they recover, providing hospital visits, community support, medical and professional advice, help with medical equipment, and other efforts. The organization also supports family members, who are often as traumatized and in need of help as the injured rider.
